Signing up and Getting Started via Twitter

This will explain how to get signed up and started using Scribe

TWITTER LOGIN HAS BEEN DISABLED.

We will enable twitter login again once API fees are reduced or we can afford the new astronomical fee structure. Please continue to the discord log on the next page to learn how to access with discord or a wallet.

Signing up for Scribe is very simple and quick. If you don't need any significant guidance, which is provided below, this 8 step process will get you started.

Scribe uses Twitter login to create your account on Scribe. We use this because Scribe started with a very significant integration with Twitter. Scribe will not post, modify, or change anything on your twitter account. We use that account to enable us to look at your twitter so all the leaderboards, rewards, and statistics can be discovered and you can get the most out of Scribe.

Step one is logging into Twitter, on your device, laptop, or computer.

Once you are logged into Twitter, navigate to GoScribe.io on your device, laptop, or computer.

This is where the magic happens.

Step 2 - Once you are on GoScribe.io, click on the "Launch Scribe App" button in the menu.

it is called an App, but is in reality another section of the website. We call it an app because you need to be logged in to use it. There is no app or file to install.

Step 3 - click "Sign in with Twitter"

This is the sign-in page for Scribe. The message and content on this page may change from time to time, and may not be exactly what is shown below, but it will ALWAYS be at app.nftscribe.io and have the "continue with Twitter" button centrally located.

Click the "Continue with Twitter" button to create your account and go to the dashboard screen.

Step 4 - Earning XP

At this point you are set up with the basic Scribe account. How to earn XP by interacting with spaces and tweets, as well as earning $PLAY tokens is detailed in the Earning XP and $PLAY section of this wiki. This is a basic dashboard. Yours will have zeros on all scores and totals the first time you login. To view the menu, mouse over the left icons on PC or laptop, use the menu if on mobile.

Continue to connect a wallet and activate an NFT.

Step 5 - Connect a wallet and Activate an NFT

To connect a wallet and activate an NFT, click the "Collectibles" menu button.

This screen will appear. Click the orange button to connect an eth, avalanche, chronos or polygon wallet.
